Intake Vent
The Lambro 6-inch galvanized steel fresh air wall intake vent with a 11-inch pipe allows clean, fresh air into the home when gas appliances are present or when today’s houses are airtight.
The vent design for new and replacement installations over an existing 6-inch opening. It features an opening containing the wire mesh screen with a net-free area of 18 square inches. The net-free area of the unrestricted opening is now 34 square inches when removing the screen.
The vent’s manufacturing material is 26 gauge galvanized steel for durability to maintain longevity.
All gas appliances should have a fresh air intake vent if they are indoors. These include gas heaters, fireplaces that use gas, gas water heaters, and gas dryers. If they don’t have a fresh air intake vent, they rely on the oxygen in the air, adding carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide in unhealthy ranges to the home.
