We want to introduce you to two new Lambro vents—the four-inch and six-inch Plastic Flush Mount Round Soffit Vent with a friction-fit collar. Designed for optimal function and aesthetic appeal, a low-profile design will blend beautifully into your installation. Here’s what you need to know about the two newest additions to our product lineup.
What is a Soffit Vent?
First things first—what is a soffit vent and why do you need one? A soffit vent is a type of ventilation opening typically located on the underside of a building’s eaves or overhangs—aka the soffit. This vent allows fresh air to enter the attic space, promoting good air circulation and preventing moisture buildup, which can lead to mold and structural damage.
Soffit vents work in conjunction with other roof vents, like ridge vents or gable vents, to create a continuous airflow that helps regulate attic temperature and reduce energy costs. Available in various materials, including aluminum, vinyl, and wood, soffit vents are crucial for maintaining the health and longevity of a building’s roof.

Both the four-inch and six-inch vent (made of polymer resin material) offer the same unique benefits in the size that is right for your project.
Now onto the fun part—choosing a color. To help you find a custom fit, you can choose between both size vents in brown, black, and white.
How it Works
Depending on the needs of the project, you can pick a four-inch or a six-inch fit. With both size vents, the vent features a collar that has two sides with ribs to secure the vent without the need for screws. You will cut a round hole in the diameter of the vent collar and push the vent into the hole to complete the installation.
These vents can be used in new or replacement vent installations, as well as soffit or wall installations. Because these vents come with a friction-fit collar, no screws are required.
Creating long-lasting, quality HVAC solutions is our priority and our new vents illustrate this commitment. The UV inhibitor helps prevent the premature fading of the vent (caused by sunshine) and the plastic material is paintable if you prep it properly (we strongly recommend using plastic paint). We also advise you not to use this vent with clothes dryer venting.
